In the fourth quarter of 2024, several business apps demonstrated notable performance trends on the Android platform in Ireland. Here’s a closer look at the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Microsoft Authenticator saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, beginning at around 5K and dropping to about 2.9K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users initially rose to a peak of 266K in mid-October but experienced a decline to approximately 193K by the end of December.

Microsoft Teams maintained a steady download rate, starting with over 4.2K and closing the quarter at about 1.6K downloads per week. Active users showed an interesting pattern, peaking at 327K mid-quarter before falling to nearly 173K by the end.

An Post experienced a surge in downloads, notably reaching 4.6K in late November. Active users also increased significantly towards the end of the quarter, rising from 15.2K to over 23K.

Indeed Job Search downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight increase mid-quarter, peaking at over 3.3K downloads. Active users showed a gradual decline from 54.6K to around 47.9K by quarter's end.

Zoom Workplace had a consistent revenue stream, peaking at $1.3K in early December. Downloads saw a decrease from 2.5K to just over 1.1K. Active users experienced a notable decline, starting at 125K and dropping to approximately 70.8K.
